It's quite simple really, my name is Charlotte Ducos, and I love music!  I was born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a "Mormon".  I have a love for, and an abiding faith in Jesus Christ, and in His Atonement.  I believe in, and follow, living prophets and apostles.  I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, and He loves you too!  I believe that music has the power to carry these truths and many more, straight to the hearts of those who are truly listening.  God speaks through music.  He teaches, He heals, and He sends His love to those who need it most, when words just arent enough.  That is what my music is all about.

I grew up in Oakley, a small farming community in southern Idaho.  My father and brother still run the family farm there.  I come from pioneer stock on both sides of my family, and I am grateful for my heritage.  My parents taught me to work hard, be responsible, and to be kind to others.  They also shared with me their love for the gospel of Jesus Christ, for which I am eternally grateful.  After graduation, I attended Brigham Young University, where I met and married my husband. We have 5 children.

I have always loved music, but my songwriting/composing "career" is actually relatively new.  I wrote my first piece--a tune without words--as a senior in High School--an assignment from my piano teacher.  I composed a couple additional pieces, mostly as stress relief, during my college years, but it wasn't until 2003 as a Young Women's Leader that I wrote my first full song with words and music.  We needed a Camp Song to sing up at Girl's Camp.  I wanted it to match with the theme of the Camp, and I couldn't think of a song that was exactly right....so I ventured to ask myself--"If I were to write the perfect song, what would it say?"  I guess that was the right question to ask, because words and music began to fill my mind and the rest is history.  Over the years since that time, I have written countless songs, attended Conferences and Workshops to improve my skills, and have rubbed shoulders with some amazing individuals who have helped me improve my craft.  I am still learning and growing as an artist, but I love the journey and my life would not be the same without the gift of music.  Thank you for the opportunity to share that gift!
